Lighting and site security in one trailer

FAQ

What can the VTS8P-L do besides lighting?

Options include CCTV cameras, a communication system and, with the large battery configuration, an external power output. One trailer can light a site, monitor it at night and supply small equipment.

Which battery options are available?

AGM at DC 12 V in 10.8, 14.4 or 19.2 kWh, or LiFePO4 lithium at DC 24 V in 11 or 16.56 kWh. The 19.2 kWh capacity is available in AGM only.

How is the battery charged?

Eight 450 W panels at DC 48 V (3.6 kW in total) charge the battery through a Victron or Chinese MPPT controller. A 3 kW gas or diesel backup generator and an AC charger are available as options.

How can the LED lighting be configured?

Choose 4, 6 or 8 IP65 lights of 60, 100, 200 or 250 W, at 180 lm/W, on a mast extending to 6–9 m (20–30 ft). Angle adjustment and bar steering are manual or electric, and a photocell switch is optional.

What are the shipping details and operating limits?

Two units fit in a 20 ft container and four in a 40 ft; each weighs 2,000 kg. The trailer has four manual outriggers, a 100 km/h wind rating and an operating range of -35 °C to +60 °C.

What warranty and after-sales support do rental fleets get?

The VTS8P-L carries a 2-year warranty. We provide installation assistance, and if a unit is defective, AB-iPower covers transport and replaces it. You can also inspect units at the factory or by live video before shipment.
