FAQ

Can I add more battery capacity?

Yes. The system takes up to 12 LiFePO4 battery modules at 51.2 V, and capacity scales with the number of modules up to 61.44 kWh. You can specify the module count that matches your load profile.

How long can the VE30 K3-60 run on battery?

With 61.44 kWh, it supplies about 2 hours at the full 30 kW, or about 6 hours at a 10 kW load, before losses. Four 4 kW MPPT solar inputs recharge the battery during the day and extend battery-only operation.

How does it work with a diesel generator?

Generator and storage can run in parallel for higher loads, including your own diesel generator in expansion mode. At low load the system runs on battery alone, so the generator starts only when needed and logs fewer engine hours.

Can it operate grid-tied as well as off-grid?

Yes. The VE30 K3-60 works off-grid or grid-tied, with a 30 kW three-phase output (3L+N+PE, 400 V, 50/60 Hz), 37.5 kW of peak power for 10 seconds and 97.8 % maximum efficiency.

How is the VE30 K3-60 shipped and handled?

The enclosure measures 1,876 × 1,402 × 1,388 mm and weighs 1.3 t, with forklift access for handling on site. 4 units fit in a 20 ft container and 8 in a 40 ft container.
