Modular storage that grows with the site

The MG12K-40 is built from 5.12 kWh LiFePO4 modules, so capacity can start small and grow to 40.96 kWh without replacing the system. It runs on-grid or off-grid and switches to battery instantly when the supply fails.

How much battery capacity can the MG12K-40 hold?

It is built from 51.2 V LiFePO4 modules of 5,120 Wh (4,966 Wh usable), up to 8 modules for 40.96 kWh. You can start with fewer modules and add more as needs grow, without replacing the system.

How long can it run a load on battery?

With all 8 modules, usable energy is about 39.7 kWh. As an example, at a steady 5 kW load that is roughly 8 hours on battery, and the 15.6 kW solar input can recharge it during the day.

Does it provide uninterrupted power if the grid fails?

Yes. It switches automatically and instantly to battery if the grid or generator fails, through a 60 A transfer switch. The inverter delivers 12 kW rated, 13.2 kW maximum and 24 kW peak for 10 seconds, at 220/230 V single-phase, 50/60 Hz.

Can it be installed outdoors, and how much solar does it accept?

Yes. The system is rated IP65 for indoor or outdoor installation. It accepts up to 15.6 kW of PV with a 150 to 430 V MPPT range, 500 V maximum open-circuit voltage and more than 99 % MPPT efficiency.

What warranty and certifications apply?

The battery carries a 10-year warranty to 80 % capacity and is rated for more than 6,000 cycles. The system is certified CE, IEC and UN38.3, and we provide installation assistance.

Is OEM branding available and what is the minimum order?

Yes, OEM branding and custom configurations are available. The minimum order is one unit, with a 5 % discount from 8 units. Payment is a 30 % deposit and the balance before shipment, with production in 15 to 45 working days depending on quantity.
