Advantages

Why operators choose the VMHV160K3

Less fuel burned

The energy management system uses solar and battery first and starts the Perkins generator only when the load or battery state requires it.

Lower maintenance cost

Fewer generator running hours extend service intervals, which matters on remote sites with limited technical access.

Handles peak loads

Diesel and battery can run in parallel to cover high peaks without interrupting supply.

Works with your existing generator

Expansion mode connects to a generator you already own, so capacity can be added in phases.

4G monitoring as standard

Real-time data, alarms and remote control from anywhere, at no extra cost.

Built for sites the grid does not reach

The VMHV160K3 puts a complete hybrid power plant on one trailer: a 225 kWh LiFePO4 battery bank, a 100 kW power conversion system, four independent solar MPPT inputs and a 100 kVA Perkins diesel generator with a Stamford alternator. The energy management system decides, second by second, which source carries the load.

On a typical remote site, solar charges the battery during the day and the battery carries the night load. The generator starts only when the battery reaches its set point or when a heavy load needs extra power, then runs at an efficient load to recharge the battery. Fewer running hours mean less diesel delivered to site, longer service intervals and less noise.

Three ways to run

  • Off-grid: solar, battery and generator work together as an independent power station.
  • Grid-connected: the system supports a weak grid, stores cheap energy and covers peaks.
  • Parallel with a generator: connect a generator you already own to add capacity in phases.

Delivered ready to work

Every unit is assembled and run in our yard before shipment. The trailer ships with 4G remote monitoring as standard, so you can follow energy flows, alarms and fuel use from anywhere. OEM branding, voltage and frequency options can be discussed for fleet and distributor orders.

FAQ

FAQ

Can the VMHV160K3 run without the diesel generator?

Yes. In off-grid mode the system runs on solar and the 225 kWh battery, and the energy management system starts the Perkins generator automatically only when the battery state or the load requires it.

How long can the battery carry a site load on its own?

The LiFePO4 battery stores up to 225 kWh. As an example, at a steady 50 kW load that is about 4.5 hours on battery alone, before solar input or the 100 kVA generator is needed to recharge it.

What output voltage and frequency does it deliver?

Standard output is 3-phase 400/230 V at 50 Hz, with a 100 kW rated PCS, 110 kW maximum and 120 kW peak for one minute. Voltage and frequency options can be discussed for fleet and distributor orders.

Can it work with a generator we already own?

Yes. Besides off-grid and grid-connected operation, the VMHV160K3 has a parallel mode that connects to an existing generator, so you can add capacity in phases. Diesel and battery can also run together to cover high peaks without interrupting supply.

How is the trailer shipped and what are its dimensions?

The trailer measures 3,320 × 2,170 × 2,230 mm and weighs 6 t. The datasheet lists container loading as 1 × 20 ft or 3 × 40 ft, and we ship FOB or CIF. Each unit is assembled and run in our yard before shipment.

What are the lead time and payment terms?

Production takes 15 to 45 working days depending on model and quantity, with a minimum order of one unit. Payment is a 30 % deposit with the balance before shipment, and you can inspect the unit at our factory or by live video first.

Tell us the site, the load and the hours. We will recommend a configuration and send a factory price.
